Kamen Rider Sub!

An experiment into subtitling videos I've been trying. Tell me what you think!

Whoah!

How long has it been since I was here last? :looks down: Oh yes, early March.

Still I'm back again and my collection has progressed some more since Blade, Orga and Garren, and I might even post piccies of them when I'm able to take pictures again (ie. when the data cable for my mother's camera reappears)

I think I'm up to the point where I can definitely say I'm into Kamen Rider. I'm now only missing 4 Ryuki figures (Alternative, Verde, Femme and Ryuga), 2 Kabuto figures (Sasword and Kabuto Hyper Form) the Kamen Rider the First figures and anything released between 2000-2002. The Den-O figures are on the way (why Rod form is last and he is the second form in the show, who knows?)

As far as the shows themselves are concerned, I've seen every episode from Ryuki #1 to Den-O #10. I've watched half of Episode Final (I'll finish it some day!), Kamen Rider the First, Paradise Lost and Missing Ace. I have every intention of watching 7 War Demons and might even watch it sometime! God Speed Love I'm waiting for TV-Nihon to release, and until then I'm happy to wait.

Well see you next time, and I might have something interesting to talk about! :D

Blade! Orga! Garren!

Latest three figures!

Survive!

eBay user toysonline2002 has auctions for Ryuki & Knight Survive figures as well as Den-o Axe Form (pre-order though!) which include the first pictures I can recall seeing of these. I believe the Ryuki figures are due out in June and the Den-o figure I'm not too sure about. Enjoy!

edit: Now that I look closer at the pictures, I think that's supposed to be the release date at the top, meaning Den-o is out in April, with the Survive figures in June.

Shelf!

I now have a shelf for my figures. It's put up by me, so it's slightly wonky and (as far as the display in Ikea is concerned) upside-down, but I like it.

Erk

It's now Friday and I have done precisely zip. The garage is the same state. My bedroom wall still has a lighter shade of paint around the lightswitch than the rest of the wall and my shelf space is still shrinking (see last post).

On the upside, I bought the latest Transformers graphic novel on my Liverpool trip, which I don't even think is out in this country yet, at Forbidden Planet and ... er ... that's it. I now have the weekend to try to do the jobs I took the week off for especially, yet squandered by watching Kamen Rider Blade episodes all week (now up to episode 38 from 8 at the start of the week!)

As the title states, erk!

New SH figure

Psyga!! This one's from the movie Paradise Lost and is pretty cool actually with his removable jetpack that becomes cannons and removable tonfas. Just one more Faiz figure to go now (and that's winging it's way to me now!) unless I can get that limited Faiz Accel form :/

Souchaku Henshin

One of my most recent discoveries (about a month and a half ago) is a range of japanese action figures released by Bandai whose title translates as "Armour Transform." It mainly focuses on the Kamen Rider franchise by Toei (I won't go into any depth here because there are plenty of other sites that can do better than I can, try wikipedia.org)

Anyway, I've got quite a collection going and may put pictures up at some point. I've looked high and low for information about upcoming figures and I'm intrugued by the latest developments. The figures from Den-o (the new series) are complete with several more points of articulation including two for the waist and the ability to do that "c'm'ere" gesture from old japanese movies.Additionally there are now to be SH versions of Ryuki Survive and Knight Survive released, from what I can tell, in June. Roll on the rest of 2007!

Check back for pics of the ever-growing collection including most of the Ryuki lot, Faiz and Blade as well as Black and Black RX.

'Ello

Ok, this is my first blog. Yes, my first! Never tried one before and I thought I'd give it a go.

The reason for me setting my blog up was initially because I'm bored. Took a week off work to paint a wall, put up shelves and clear some boxes out of the garage. It's now Wednesday evening and my total efforts this week so far involve sleeping until noon, making meals, going to the shops this afternoon and creating a blog. Alright, it's entirely my fault I've not done anything aside from some disagreements over the colour of paint for the wall. That said, I'm out most of tomorrow on a trip to Liverpool (at my own leisure :D) so chances are come Monday morning I'll have a list of things to tell my friends at work that I told them I was doing that I haven't (except for the garage, that's the only item on the list that I didn't add myself)

Ah well, just see what the rest of the week brings. My account balance has gotten a boost due to today being payday, so the trip won't be entirely unproductive (I hope!)

See ya.
